In American culture, the idea that you can do anything and everything is of substantial value and one of the most popular reasons people immigrate to America. Putting this value into every aspect of American life can be heavy, especially in the food industry. When putting this idea in the perspective of food, it can open the concept of “the more the merrier”. You can see this in food proportions, when the food is spilling over the plate and people need to scramble to finish it before it falls off. Or the fact that on the same street, there is a different fast food restaurant, cooking any range of food (there are more fast food restaurants than grocery stores 5:1). Or in those fast food chains, you could get a bucket/gallon of food costing you less than a bag of rice and many more crazy deals to enforce that you can always get more or go back for seconds. The concept of getting a bang for your buck could cost your life, banging your health out of this world.
