Where it All Began…

The Original Editors of Unleashed, Bancroft’s new student-run publication, were excited to re-launch the school newspaper in a fresh and creatively distinct way! Initially, they felt that Bancroft needed a school newspaper, but truthfully, Unleashed  does not meet the definition at all.

Unlike previous school newspapers, such as The Bancroft Beacon, Unleashed is an entirely electronic publication which will feature movie, book and music reviews to recipes to original artwork and prose and poetry to surveys and powerpoints. Unleashed strives to provide you, the student body, with an edgier, more avant-garde outlet for your opinion and creativity. What you see now is only the beginning…

Mission Statement: Unleashed will provide an opportunity for student voice in a regularly occurring publication in order to promote a more unified community, showcase and celebrate student work and achievements, and report to the student body about Upper School happenings.
