A Summer Collage

This is a collection of mini watercolor paintings I did over the summer of 2020, mostly inspired by scenes I came across throughout my journeys. The paintings were photographed in my Studio Art IV class and put into my art portfolio for college!

These are so beautiful, Ava! I especially like the painting of the sky outside the airplane; I think that the colors and the concept are so cool!

The picture of the sunflowers in the vase is very intriguing, while someone would get sunflowers to maybe make their house look nice, they slowly take on a more droopy, look, and the therefore give the area a more monotone feeling; clearly expressing the duality of peoples interests and priorities.

I love the differences of perspective in the pieces. (My favorite is the succulent.) 🙂

My two favorites are “House reflection on the lake” (1st one, third row) and “Power line sunset” (bottom one).
I know those aren’t the actual names… 🙂

These are all very lovely Ava. They make me long for green grass and leafy trees.
