In our last meeting for Unleashed we decided to relax a bit. We pulled out Mrs. Fortier’s infamous metaphor dice and just went ham. Emma and Julianna decided to take a particularly strange one and turn it into a particularly strange poem. Enjoy!

“Unruly Party Clown” by Emma and Julianna

I am an unruly party clown

I will never bring you down

I have a red nose but I’m green behind the ears

And I don’t listen to anybody’s jeers

My face might be white but it’s not from shock

I’m so unruly, but I won’t hit you with a rock

I have a rainbow afro

It’s not as good as Aidan Choate’s though

My feet are as big as my heart

And I will never tear you apart
